Reset, Reflect, Restore: NCBW Greater Cleveland Partners for Women’s Mental Wellness

The National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc., Greater Cleveland Chapter is committed to Black women’s wellness, which extends far beyond advocacy—it includes creating meaningful opportunities for healing, connection, and whole-person care. That is why we are proud to partner in The Reset! A Mental Wellness Experience, a special Women’s Health Month event taking place on Saturday, May 23, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Cleveland Clinic Langston Hughes Health and Education Center. Mental wellness is not a luxury. It is foundational.

For many women—particularly Black women—the weight of caregiving, professional responsibilities, family obligations, community leadership, and the pressure to remain resilient can leave little room to pause, process, or prioritize personal well-being. Events like The Reset create intentional space to do exactly that.

This restorative gathering will bring women together for meaningful conversation, guided wellness experiences, and interactive activities designed to support emotional and mental well-being in a welcoming, judgment-free environment. We are especially proud to celebrate Dr. Shamarah Hutchins, a member of NCBW Greater Cleveland Chapter, who will serve as one of the featured panelists for this event. As the CEO of Serene Counseling & Wellness, Dr. Hutchins has built a practice rooted in helping individuals navigate healing, boundaries, emotional wellness, and personal transformation—work that deeply aligns with our chapter’s commitment to uplifting Black women and families. Her presence reflects the caliber of expertise and community leadership within our own sisterhood, and we are thrilled to see her helping guide this important conversation.

What to Expect

Attendees can look forward to:

  • A powerful wellness panel
  • Sister-circle style small group discussions
  • Interactive wellness stations
  • Time to reflect, recharge, and connect
  • Complimentary lunch
  • Raffles
  • Conversations centered on confidence, purpose, healing, boundaries, caregiving, menopause, nutrition, and more

Whether you are navigating a demanding season, supporting others while neglecting yourself, or simply in need of a moment to breathe, this event was designed with women’s wellness in mind. The mission of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women centers on advocating for Black women and girls through health, education, economic empowerment, and public policy. Mental health belongs in that conversation. Supporting women’s emotional well-being is part of supporting stronger families, stronger leadership, and stronger communities. When women are equipped with tools for healing and resilience, the ripple effect reaches every area of life. Partnerships like this allow us to live out that mission in practical, community-centered ways.

If your mind has been full…
If your schedule has been nonstop…
If you’ve been pouring into everyone else…

Consider this your invitation to reset.

This event is free and open to the public, but registration is required: https://redcap.ccf.org/redcap/surveys/?s=E9AL47H8489A39XX
