On June 27, 2025, the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc., Greater Cleveland Chapter awarded the Margaret R. Barron, Chartering President Scholarship during the Annual Women of Vision Awards and Scholarship Reception at the Hyde Park Event Center in Beachwood, Ohio.

This year’s recipients — Niobi Delores Rotham (Kent State University, Marketing), Juliyana Alicia Johnson (Kent State University, Radiology), and Taylor Nicole Reeves (Bowling Green University, Pre-Law) — were recognized for their academic excellence, leadership, and commitment to community service. Each will begin her college journey this fall, carrying forward the spirit of achievement and perseverance embodied by the scholarship’s namesake, Margaret R. Barron.

As these young scholars take their next steps, the Greater Cleveland Chapter celebrates their accomplishments and reaffirms its commitment to empowering the next generation of Black women leaders through education and mentorship.
