Allmond, offered mentees an opportunity to connect with accomplished women leaders and gain valuable insights into career growth, leadership, and purpose.
The day opened with a guided meditation led by Denise Milner, followed by welcoming remarks from Ceylon M. Allmond and an address from NCBW-GCC President Dionne E. Jones, who emphasized the chapter’s commitment to mentoring and empowering young women.
Moderated by DaLisa Delk-Cann, the Fireside Chat Career Panel featured an accomplished group of speakers:

- Monique Wingard, SAVVY Consulting & Communications and Kent State University
- Stephanie Adams, Attorney and Member, Ohio State Bar Association

The panelists shared their stories of perseverance, service, and success—encouraging mentees to stay authentic, overcome challenges, and lead with confidence. Dr. Shamarah Hutchins facilitated an engaging Q&A that deepened the dialogue on professional growth and community impact.
The program concluded with a Speed Mentorship Session, giving mentees the chance to connect one-on-one with professionals and receive personalized guidance. Conversations continued over light refreshments, reinforcing the spirit of sisterhood and empowerment that defines the Through Her Eyes Mentorship Program.
Through this annual event, NCBW-GCC continues to uphold its mission to advocate, mentor, and create opportunities for the next generation of women leaders.
