The National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc., Greater Cleveland Chapter (NCBW-GCC) proudly participated in the annual Race for the Place, held on Sunday, June 1, 2025, at the Beachwood Mall. The event, hosted by The Gathering Place, raises vital funds to provide free support services to individuals and families impacted by cancer.
Each year, the race brings together survivors, advocates, and community organizations united in the fight against cancer — and NCBW-GCC was honored to be part of this meaningful cause once again. The chapter fielded four race participants and achieved its $500 fundraising goal, demonstrating its ongoing commitment to health advocacy and community engagement.
By walking and running in solidarity, the chapter not only honored those affected by cancer but also reaffirmed its dedication to empowering women and families through advocacy, education, and service.
